Kansainvälistä uraa luomassa oleva Aino Elina julkaisi uuden kappaleen Sillä rajalla. Samalla hän julkaisi myös kansainvälisen musiikkivideon, johon oli pyydetty tanssivideoita ympäri maailmaa.
– Kaukaisimmat videot tulivat Brasiliasta ja Los Angelesista, Aino Elina valaisi tiedotteessaan.
Taitelijanimellä Aino Elina esiintyvä Mari Raekallio on kotoisin Lapista, Kittilän Pöntsöstä. Eikä hänen kotiseutujaankaan unohdettu, sillä tanssivideoita tuli Lapista saakka. Musiikkivideo on sidottu hyvin tähän aikaan, sillä tanssijoiden kasvoilla on maskit.
Kaupunki suljettuna kolme kuukautta
Aino Elinan nykyisessä kotikaupungissa Edinburghissa koronavirus näkyi katukuvassa hyvin selkeästi.
– Kaikki oli suljettuna kolme kuukautta keväällä, mutta nyt rajoituksia on pikkuhiljaa purettu ja ystäviä on saanut taas tavata, Aino Elina totesi.
Videollakin esiintyvä kaupunki on artistin mieleen hyvine ulkoilumahdollisuuksineen.
– Edinburgh on vihreä ja inspiroiva kaupunki lukuisine puistoineen ja kukkuloineen. Täällä on mielekästä tavata ystäviä ulkoilualueilla.
”Katsoa saa, mutta ei koskea”
Aino Elinan juuri julkaistu uusin kappale Sillä rajalla huokuu suomalaisesta sanoituksestaan huolimatta kansainvälistä discopoppia. Musiikkivideolla on pienehkö seksuaalissävytteisyys, joka tietyllä tavalla myös tuo esiin tähän aikaankin hyvin sopivaa teemaa ”katsoa saa, mutta ei koskea”.
– Sillä rajalla on tanssibiisi, joka toivottavasti piristää ihmisiä, jotka ovat jääneet paitsi livemusiikista viruskriisin takia.
Kappale on kokonaan Aino Elinan käsialaa, sillä hän vastaa sen sävellyksestä, sanoituksesta sekä sovituksesta. Tuotannosta vastaa skotlantilainen Dave Lloyd ja se on äänitetty Edinburghissa.
Musiikkivideo on tehty myös samaisessa kaupungissa niiltä osin, missä Aino Elina esiintyy. Hänen lisäkseen videolla tanssii vatsatanssija Lara Jane. Videon on kuvannut Dale R. Murray.
