Kiekko-Espoo teki jatkosopimuksia

Kiekko-Espoon kauden 2020-2021 joukkueen rakentaminen etenee. Nyt jatkosopimuksen ovat allekirjoittaneet espoolaisjoukkueen kokeneet pelaajat, puolustaja Tea Villilä ja hyökkääjä Reetta Valkjärvi. Heidän lisäkseen myös nuori puolustaja Ada Eronen jatkaa espoolaisryhmässä.

Villilä on pelannut Suomessa naisten pääsarjassa 175 runkosarjaottelun verran, jonka lisäksi on kertynyt pudotuspelejä 69 ottelua. Aikuisten maaotteluita Villilän uralle on mahtunut 96, joista 18 ottelua on tullut MM-turnauksesta ja kuusi ottelua Sotshin olympialaisissa vuonna 2014. Espoossa hän on pelannut seitsemällä eri kaudella. Ura naisten SM-sarjassa alkoi Bluesin paidassa 2007-2008 kaudella.

Pelicansissa kiekko-oppinsa saanut Reetta Valkjärvi on edustanut espoolais-joukkuetta vuodesta 2015 lähtien, jolloin hän siirtyi Kuortaneelta Bluesin riveihin. Jo tuota ennen hän oli pelannut seitsemän ottelun verran Bluesin paidassa kaudella 2011-2012, jolloin hänen liigauransa sai alkunsa. Juniorimaajoukkueessa Valkjärvi on esiintynyt 46 ottelussa, joista 13 on MM-tason kamppailuita.

Vasta 16- vuotias Ada Eronen aloittaa Espoossa nyt kolmannen kautensa liigassa. Hän pelasi ensimmäiset pelinsä Bluesin paidassa kaudella 2018-2019, jolloin vyölle kertyi 11 runkosarjan ottelua ja yksi pudotuspeli. Maalitilin Eronen avasi kaudella 2019-2020, kun hän kiskaisi 21 runkosarjan ottelussa kaksi maalia. Pudotuspelejä kertyi nuorukaiselle viisi.
